Certificate IV in Frontline Management

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who take the first line of management in a wide range of organisational and industry contexts. They may have existing qualifications and technical skills in any given vocation or profession, yet require skills or recognition in supervisory functions. Typically they would report to a manager. At this level frontline managers provide leadership and guidance to others and take responsibility for the effective functioning and performance of the team and its work outcomes. Units Students must complete a minimum of 10 units to achieve this qualification consisting of 4 core units and 6 elective units. This Program has been packaged to meet industry skill sets and the Victorian purchasing guide requirements. BSBMGT401A Show leadership in the workplace (Core) BSBMGT402A Implement operational plan (Core) BSBWHS401A Implement and monitor WHS policies, procedures and programs to meet legislative requirements (Core) BSBWOR402A Promote team effectiveness (Core) BSBCUS401B Coordinate implementation of customer service strategies (Elective) BSBINM401A Implement workplace information system (Elective) BSBMKG413A Promote products and services (Elective) BSBREL401A Establish networks (Elective) BSBRSK401A Identify risk and apply risk management processes (Elective) BSBWOR404B Develop work priorities (Elective) Entrance Requirements All students must undertake and be competent in a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment. Students must be currently working in a role at an organisation approved by Ascet Tech. Students must have access to and be able to use a computer or tablet, internet, word processing and email.
